JTO has a number of proprietary tools and methods that it uses as a base for its training programs. These tools provide an overview of a particular person, team or organization.

JTO was one of the first organizations in Europe to adapt the 360 degree feedback method. JTO's 360 tool is available in 6 languages and there are individual versions for persons in managerial positions and non-managerial positions.

JTO also provides another personal assessment tool geared specifically to multi-national organizations called the Base Competencies Assessment (BCA). The BCA can be customized to individual organizations and contains simple and straightforward statements that get to the heart of managerial development areas. The BCA uses a unique evaluation system that is not based on numbers, helping to eliminate some of the subjectivity that accompanies number based assessments.

JTO was also a pioneer in the business simulator training area. Its trademarked Maestro™ series of business and strategy simulators help entire organizations understand complex financial and strategic concepts and how they relate to the performace of the business.

New this year to JTO's tools is our Strategy Position Assessment (SPA). The SPA is designed to provide an overview of how individuals in different managerial levels understand the organization's strategy and the business areas where the organization should focus on for future development.
